Maj Gen Sohael made DG of Immigration and Passports

Major General Sohael Hossain Khan has been appointed the new Director General of the Department of Immigration and Passports.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday after attaching Sohael to the Security Services Division of the Home Ministry for appointing him on deputation.
In another office order, Director Generals of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Brigadier General Md Mustafa Kamal and Brigadier General Md Nasim Parvez were attached to the Armed Force Division for taking them back to the Army.
Besides, Brigadier General Md Mahfuzul Karim Mazumder was attached to the Posts and Telecommunications Division for appointing him as Director General of BTRC.
