BRU VC adorned with Major rank badge

Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur, Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO has been promoted to Major from Captain. He was honoured with the badge of Major rank in a ceremony held at the BNCC Headquarter in the capital on Thursday, says a BRU press release.
Director General of BNCC Headquarter Brig General Md. Abdul Baten Khan psc, g, and the Director (training and Admission) of BNCC Lt. Colonel Toufik Nowshad fomally adorned Dr Kalimullah with the rank badge of Major.  
As per the release, the Defence Ministry in line with a presidential order notified Prof Kalimullah as Major on 18 November, 2018 with an effect from 2nd November, 2016.
