70 DU students get Dean's Award

UNB, Dhaka :
Seventy meritorious students from different departments under the Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University (DU) received the Dean's Award for their academic results in the BBA and MBA examinations.
DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed the awards among the students at a function held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university on Tuesday.
Business Studies Faculty Dean Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam presided over the function while DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin spoke at the programme as a special guest.
President of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Barrister Nihad Kabir addressed the programme as the event speaker.
Chairman of the Organization Strategy & Leadership department Prof Dr Muhammad Abdul Mayeen gave the vote of thanks.
The DU VC encouraged the students to prepare themselves with the combination of merit, truthfulness, patriotism and honesty to become entrepreneurs for developing the country's socio-economic condition.
