After Jaago, Guerilla Diana in TV play

Khijir Hayat Khan directed Jaago was Nusrat Jahan Diana acted her first movie. Later, she was also seen to act in Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu’s movie Guerilla. Then for the long time she was absent from acting in big screen.
While asking her about the matter Diana told this correspondent, “In fact, after Guerilla, there was obstruction to work in movie from my family. I also did not go through against my family’s decision - not to work in movie. For this reason, I have to be engaged with acting only in the small screen I have right now any intention to work in the big screen.”
Already Diana has finished shooting of a play titled Sei Pothey. Mezbah Shikder has scripted and gave direction of the play. Irfan Sajjad worked against Diana in this play. Its shooting has been done in the capital’s different places including Uttara area. This play will be telecast in any satellite channel soon.
In 2015, Diana got Noyonmoni Cultural Award in Best Actress category. She also performed as model in TV commercials like Citycell, Banglalink, Robi Mother’s Day, etc.
Nurul Alam Atik’s Himgiritey Jhora Palok and E Shohor Jadur Shohor, Debashish Biswas’ Chithi, Shihab Shahin’s Mumbasa and Mon Foring-er Golpo, Sumon Anwar’s Boloban, Saidul Anam Tutul’s Chorai Dhon, etc are Diana acted mentionable works in the small screen.
