One killed, 30 hurt in N'ganj clash

A woman died and around 30 other persons including 10 Police men were injured in a clash over fixing the wages of the workers of NR Group in Narayanganj's Fatullah town.
This clash took place between workers and police in the morning on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Bhuli Akter who died reportedly of brain stroke during the clash.
Jahidul Islam, Superintend of Police (SP) of Industry Police-4, confirmed the news to media that demanding salary hike, workers blocked the Dhaka-Munshiganj Road at Bholail of Fatullah at 11 am. A total of 20 workers and nine police personnel were injured in the clash, Later, local MP AKM Shamim Osman came to the spot to control the situation. Now, situation is under control, SP added.
