Northern Warriors won the second edition of T10 League defeating Pakhtoons by 22 runs in the final on Sunday night.
Northern Warriors is one of the three new teams that made their debut in this season of the T10 Cricket League.
Pakhtoons' skipper Shahid Afridi won the toss and sent Northern Warriors to bat first. The decision immediately backfired to Pakhtoons; they lost all clues to deliver against brutal batting display by the Warriors, who, at their stipulated 10 overs, stored 140 runs on the board.
For Northern Warriors, Rovman Powell led the attack scoring 61 not out of just 25 balls striking 8 fours and 4 sixes to the fence.
Shorter format specialist Andre Russel punctuated 38 of only 12 balls. In the sixth over of Dawson, Russel hit 27 runs in that particular occasion.
For Pakhtoons,  Afridi, Irfan and Ashraf took a wicket each.
