SMP issues special instructions on election

Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) issued special instructions for the safety of the city dwellers of Sylhet ahead of the parliamentary election recently.
SMP police spokesman M.A Wahab said the police have taken special security measures in the city area centering the eleventh parliamentary elections.
To avoid any untoward incident, the city people have been prohibited from carrying all types of arms, pyrotechnics and carrying conserving, buying and selling of explosive goods. SMP commissioner Gulam Kibria gave this direction. SMP also called for to abide by of the Code of Conduct for miking, rally and campaign.
