Like the previous season, Shahid Afridi is once again going to feature for Comilla Victorians alongside the country's best batsman Tamim Iqbal in the upcoming sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The BPL-6 is slated to roll onto the ground from January 5 of next year.
In a recently published video message, Pakistani all-round great Shahid Afridi is seen inviting the fans to come to the grounds in numbers to witness the live cricketing action.
"I am very much happy and excited to be able to be associated with Comilla Victorians. This BPL is going to start from January 5. Please, come to the ground and enjoy our game. This time our team is very strong." - Afridi Among the foreign cricketers, Afridi was in the 'A-plus' category with a base price of USD 2,00,000 (1 crore 60 lacs BDT). And Comilla roped him in with exact that price.
Afridi quit international cricket last year, but he is still a regular feature in Pakistan's domestic circuit. Apart from that, the 38-year-old cricketer is also performing in the franchise leagues like PSL, PCL, APL, CPL, Big Bash and BPL.
