EC to announce schedule at 7pm today

The Election Commission (EC) will announce the 11th Parliamentary polls schedule on Thursday evening.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda will unveil the polls schedule in his address to the Nation at 7:00pm, the EC said in a press statement yesterday.
In the statement, the EC said that BTV (Bangladesh Television) and Radio (Bangladesh Betar) would broadcast CEC's address to the Nation simultaneously.    
It said, private TV channels and Radios are allowed to broadcast the CEC's speech for the nation by taking feed from the BTV and the Betar.
Meanwhile, the EC has asked the authorities concerned to initiate necessary steps to send nomination forms and other polling materials including the 'code of conduct' for candidates to office of the Returning Officers in divisional cities and districts from the government printing press in Tejgaon.    
The EC issued a directive to this effect on Tuesday.
