CU BCL factions sue each other

Two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League of Chattogram University Unit yesterday sued against each other in connection with the attempt to murder of both groups' activists. Confirming the matter Officer -In -Charge (Investigation) of Hathazari Model Thana Sheikh Shamim said two separate cases have been filed by two factions of CU BCL men mentioning 19 activists over Thursday's clashes between the two on the campus. AL-Amin Bhuiyan, an activist of campus based group Choose Friend with Care (CFC), filed a case with Hathazari Police Station against 8 members of Sixty Nine, a faction based on shuttle train. The accused men of the case are AnwerHossenShovo of department of Fine Arts,SrabanMizab of Marketiong Department ,MizanShaikh and ForkanulAlam of Law Department,SayedKrim of Forestry Department ,ShahibTanim of Public Administration Department,Al-aminShantu of Anthropology Department, and Shafiqul Islam Shawon of Phusics Department.
Abu HenaRony of Sixty Nine filed  the other case accusing 11 members of CFC group. The accused are, Abdullah Al Nahyan Rafi of Genetic Engineering Department, Al Amin Bhuiyan of Sociology Department, Imran Hossain of Public Administration Department, Knock sarcer of Islamic History Department, Pius Sarkar of Statistics  Department, MirzaKhobiSadaf of Law Department, Ariful Islam of Sociology Department, PrantMallick of Public Administration Department , Sandeep Biswas of the Department of Culture, Mohan Khan of Political Science Department, Waliullah of Arabic  Department.
The members of Sixty Nine group are the followers of Chittagong City Corporation Mayor AJM NasirUddin and the members of CFC group are known as the follower of Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury ,Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League.
In the last few days, Clashes and chaos have happened  between the both groups over establishing supremacy on campus. On Thursday, at least eleven activists  were injured following a clash .However ,Police has not arrested anyone till now.
