Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) organized a Freshers' Reception Program for the new student of CSE and EEE (Evening) Departments on Friday.
Prof Dr Abu Yusuf Mohammad Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust attended the program as the chief Guest while Dr Shahjahan Mahmud, Chairman, Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Ltd was present as the guest of honor. Pro Vice-Chancellor of NUB Prof Dr Anwarul Karim and Senior Research Fellow of BIDS Dr Nazneen Ahmed were present as special guests.
Chief guest Dr Yusuf Abdullah said to the young people, "If you don't have a genuine love for the country, the country will not move forward. You should pay concern to build yourself in the purpose of build the country as well.
Guest of Honor Dr Shahjahan Mahmud said, along with wisdom and intelligence, we must be honesty as well. He asked students to look forward to achieving practical skills. The program was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering of NUB Prof Dr Engr Md. Humaun Kabir.
The program was attended by the Deans, Departmental Heads, Faculty Members, employees and students. After the ceremony, cultural events were arranged.
