Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predict light rain or thundershowers at some places in three divisions with dry weather across the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am today, a met office release said on Monday.
"Light rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions as weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country until Tuesday morning," it added.  Day temperature may rise 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 33 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur and minimum temperature on Monday 17.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia under Rangpur division, the release added.
