Govt ensures good governance: Mannan

State Minister for Finance and Planning M A Mannan said that the government has ensured good governance in the country that accelerates economic growth.
He said this on Tuesday while addressing a roundtable discussion on "Inclusive Growth for Shared Prosperity" held at Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of Dhaka University (DU).
The State Minister called for fixing right wage for everyone to ensure sustainable development in the country.
Former Bangladesh Bank Governor Professor Dr. Atiur Rahman moderated the discussion while FBS Dean Prof Shibli Rubaiyat Ul Islam spoke on the occasion.
FBS held the roundtable as part of an International Conference on Business and Economics with a view to enhancing awareness of the researchers around the world for making better and innovative research work.
The conference with the theme "Shaping the future through inclusive development" brought together a group of high-level stakeholders including representatives from government, private sector, development sector, academics and researchers of different countries.
