BCL infighting at CU

Two factions of Chattogram University Unit  of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday locked into a clash over establishing supremacy on the  campus. The incident took place in front of the proctor office premises at Chittagong University (CU) at  around 1pm .Three activists were  injured in the incident.
The two groups -one led by HM Fazly Rabbi Sujan,former General Secretary of CU BCL  suspended committee and another group led by Zaman Nur ,former Vice-President  of CU BCL. The leaders and activists  of both groups are known as the followers of Barrister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, Organising Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League.
Sources said ,after the pronouncement of  "21 Aug attack verdict' BCL brought out a procession led by HM fazly Rabbi Sujan, former General Secretary of CU BCL,  on the campus . When the procession reached at proctor office, another group led by  ZamanNur , former Vice-President  of CU BCL come to the same spot. In the meantime, the leaders and activists of both groups did slogans against each other and involved in a clash while two activists were seriously injured. Police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control. Injured are Nasim Chowdhury, a student  of Institute of Education and Research under 2016-17session  and Muhaiminul Islam of Economics department of the same session. Police rescued them and sent to CU Medical Centre.
Contracted ,BelalUddin Jahangir, office in Charge of Hathazari Model Thana, said Hearing news police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. No one was arrested at this time. The situation is now completely peaceful.
HM Fazly Rabbi Sujan, General Secretary  of suspended committee of BCL CU chapter said that the agents of BNP and Shibir attacked on us and these agents are involving various crimes including eveteasing insulting journalists  on campus.
Denying the allegation  ZamanNur ,former Vice-President  of CU BCL, said the same allegation against Sujan group.
About the clash, University  Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury said two groups  involved in a clash. After investigation ,proper step will be taken.
