Looking Forward

-Shamsul Alam Belal

Illness is a doctor,
To whom we pay most heed to kindness.
To knowledge, we make promise,
We obey the only pain of a longer wait
To free our realization from the doubts of today
For all better tomorrows to come.
Let us move forward with our strong and active faith.
Let us be determined to sow the seed of life in death.

Straight  forward
-Shamsul Alam Belal
The force that through the green fuse drives the flower,
The force that through the green fuse drives the flower,
Drives my green age to blast the roots of all trees.
A battle is lost if we surrender in the half way
But sometimes it seems that
We have to love only a thing to get it at any cost.
It we subdue our appetite,
We fail to conquer our hard time,
When we are in love,
We are different from our own world.
Still I promise, despair is perfectly compatible
With a good moment somewhere
In an orchard at midnight.
When we make history, we integrate it with what
We feel strong and useful
But nothing that is weak and useless.
Because, knowledge without integrity
 Is dangerous and dreadful.
The jack-of-all-trades seldom is good
And that is why we must concentrate all our efforts
On one definite chief aim.
