Suspended cop, his driver held with yaba in N'ganj

UNB, Narayanganj :
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a suspended police officer and his driver with 10,000 pieces of yaba tablets and Tk 2.83 lakh in their possession from Mouchak Bus Stand area in Siddhirganj early Monday.
The arrestees were
identified as Salauddin, a suspended assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Narayanganj Detective Branch (DB) police and Mohammad Rony, driver of Salauddin.
Tipped off, a team of RAB-11 conducted a drive in the area and arrested Salauddin and Rony along with the yaba and cash at 3 am, said Police Super Nazmul Hasan of RAB-11 at a press briefing held at RAB office in the afternoon.
