Two including JU student drown in Habiganj

Two persons, including a student, at Baniachong upazila of Habiganj district died after drowning in the two separate ponds on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Shahed Khan Hasib, 20, first year student of Department of Animal Sciences of Jahangirnagar University (JU)  and son of one Abidur Rahman of Sagardighi par areas and Hadis Mia, 60, son of one (late) Nawabullah of Jamalpur village.
It is reported that Shahed khan went to take a bath in a local pond named Kamala Rani but did not return. Later locals recovered his body from water and took to Baniachong upazila health complex, where the on-duty physician declared him dead.
Hadis Mia at Jamalpur village met the similar fate. His floating body was later recovered from the pond.
