Bank of Nanjing H1 net profits up 17.11 pc on yr

The Bank of Nanjing (601009.SH) announced on Aug. 9 that its net profit attributable to shareholders amounted to 5.978 billion yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 17.11 percent from a year earlier.
According to the announcement, operating revenue of the lender rose 8.62 percent year on year to 13.496 billion yuan during the January-June period.
Basic earnings per share of the bank stood at 0.7 yuan in the first half of this year, up 16.67 percent year on year.
By the end of June, the bank's assets totaled 1.19 trillion yuan, up 4.6 percent from the beginning of this year, and the bank's bad loan ratio stood at 0.86 percent.
The lender's capital adequacy ratio came up to 13.05 percent by the end of June, up 0.12 percentage point from a year earlier.
