Journo call for launching protest progammme

Chattogram Bureau :
Leaders of the  Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Chattagram Unit  called  all journalist bodies in the port city to  condemn the attack on  journalists  in Dhaka  during the student movement  for Nirapad Sarak  recently.
The BFUJ leaders in a joint statement  demanded immediate  arrest of the attackers  with exemplary punishment.The journo leaders asked the professional journalists to discharge their duties  with responsibility and  honestly without any fear. BFUJ Vice President Reaz Haider Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Kazi Mohsin, EC member Rubel Khan signed the statement, sources said.

Chattogram journalist  leaders sources said some unidentified helmeted men, carrying sticks and metal objects, attacked several journalists while they were collecting news and taking photographs during the student protests for safe roads  in Dhaka.. Attackers also vandalized the cameras of the journos.
