Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday requested all authorities concerned to refrain from giving immoral or illegal facilities to anyone trying to get benefits showing his demi official (DO) letter or visiting card.
"The minister requested the authorities not to provide any facilities to those who will try to get facilities from the secretariat, government office or from anywhere sending demi official (DO) letters with fake signature or using the minister's visiting card claiming to be the minister's relatives or nearest ones, personal secretary, assistant personal secretary or using the identity of the ministry's officials," said an official release here.
Actually, the minister does not issue any DO letter regarding getting jobs, transfer and admission into educational institutions, the release added.
All concerned are requested to confirm the matter over telephone 02-9515533 from the minister's office, if they get any DO letter in the name of the minister.
Quader also requested all not to embarrass him by sending any kind of gifts marking the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha and ahead of national election.
