GUB honours cultural personalities

Prof Dr Muhammad Fayyz Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Green University, Bangladesh is seen at a reception program held at the university on Wednesday.

Five cultural personalities of Green University, Bangladesh (GUB) were accorded a reception in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the cultural field of the university. English Club of the University has arranged the program on Wednesday at IQAC auditorium of the University.
The honored persons are Mahbuba Sarker Shama, Ashik Istiak, Abeer Noor, Md. Shamim Mondol and Jhuna Chowdhury
KM Wazed Kabir, Chairperson of the Dept of English presided over the reception ceremony where Prof Dr Muhammad Fayyz Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University was chief guest. Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer, Eng Dr Zahid Hosain Prodhan, Chairperson of Civil Engineering, Prof SMK Nazmul Haque were present as guest of honor.
Speakers said, the contribution of the cultural personalities is very significant to the Green University.
