Portuguese Professor meets DU VC

Professor Dr Andre Barata of the University of Beira Interior, Portugal, called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman at his office on Thursday.  Chairman of DU's Department of International Relations Prof Ehsanul Haque was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on international relations and political science by Dhaka University and the University of Beira Interior.  The two universities have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote education and research in this regard.  Prof Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guest for his visit to DU and showing keen interest in its academic and research activities.
