Int'l expo on building construction, architecture, wood begin in city

Three-day international trade shows on building and construction, green architecture and wood and woodworking technology began on Thursday at International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city.
Futurex Trade Fair and Events Private Limited of India and ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Limited of Bangladesh are jointly organizing the exhibitions, said a press release.
Latest technology, products and solutions on architecture and construction are being displayed in the exhibitions titled 4th Bangladesh Buildcon 2018; Green Arch 2018 and 4th Bangladesh Wood International Expo 2018.
Director of Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) Mohammed Shamim Akhter and Chairman of Bangladesh Furniture Exporters Association K M Akhtaruzzaman, among others, were present at the inaugural ceremony of the expos.
More than 200 organizations from 10 different countries including Bangladesh are taking part in the exhibitions.
