'Open House Day' meeting observed

The Open House Day meeting was observed at Sondanga Model police station premises in  Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP)  in the city on Monday morning.
Md Momtajul Islam, officer-in-charge Sonadanga police station presided over the meeting.
Mohammad Ehsan Shah, Deputy Police Commissioner (DC, South) of KMP was present and delivered speeches as chief guest while Md. Abul Khayer Fakir, PPM, CPO, assistant police commissioner (AC, Sonadanga Zone) and SI Md. Shahidul Islam were present as special guests in the function.
Presidents and general secretaries of Policing committee and women Policing committee of all Wards, elite persons, local people and different persons of different professions were also present in the meeting.
Speakers at the meeting discussed about the anti drug drives. The discussants also discussed regarding the cooperation of common people with policemen in order to remove drugs, violence and all types of crimes from the society.
Chief guest Mohammad Ehsan Shah urged to the mass to extend their helping hands to the police with a view to reduce all kinds of misdeeds including drug peddling, terrorism and molesting by the stalkers.
Bangladesh Police is always ready to do welfare of the common peaceful  persons of the country, he added.
