10 held for leakage of pry teachers' recruitment test question papers

Barishal Metropolitan Police on early Saturday and Saturday morning operating special drives arrested ten persons including a BCL leader and four females from a residential hotel and house of the BCL leader for attempting to leak and supply answers of primary teacher's recruitment question.
The examination held on Saturday noon.
Mahfuzur Rahman, acting commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police, on Saturday noon holding a press briefing at Kotwali Police Station of the city, said on basis of tip-off they raiding Hotel Imperial of the city arrested Shahidul Islam Sohel and 6 others for alleged primary school teachers recruitment examination question leakage attempt on early Saturday.
Then after interrogating the arrestees' police raiding the resident of Rezaul Islam Bappi, the former BCL president of Barishal Govt.Syed Hatem Ali College, at New Circular Road area near the college, arrested Bappi and three others on Saturday morning.
Till this report the arrested ten were Shahidul Islam Sohel, his partner Rezaul Karim Bappi, Anowar Hossain Fakir, Ahsan Habib Haoladar, Zahiruddin Jewel, Badal Bepari, Fatema Begum, Nazmun Nahar Moni, Elina Begum Rupa and Zaheda Khatun.
Cash Tk. 1.5 lakhs, three electronic devices, and eight smart mobile phones were also recovered from the accused during the operation, police commissioner told.
Golam Rouf Khan, deputy commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police, who led the operations, said four out of  the arrested ten , were set for giving proxy in the written examination  and others planned to supply answers of the questions of recruitment test through electronic device and smart phones in lieu of huge amount of money.
Sub Inspector Mohiuddin, as complainant lodged a case in this connection with Kotwali police station and the arrested accused ten sent to sent after producing before the court on Saturday afternoon.
