Hasina`s homecoming day observed

The 38th homecoming day of Awami League President and incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was observed on Thursday.
On May 17 in 1981, she returned after a long exile.
After a long hovering over the airport, an aircraft of Indian Airline carrying Sheikh Hasina from New Delhi via Kolkata, touched the runway at 4.30 pm.
Leaders of Awami League and its associate bodies greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in
 the morning at her official residence Ganobhaban here.
Senior leaders of the party first greeted Sheikh Hasina. They included AL Advisory council members Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu and Tofail Ahmed, Presidium members Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury and Advocate Sahara Khatun, General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, Joint General Secretaries Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif and Dr Dipu Moni.
