RTV, bdnews24.com, Channel24, Dhaka Tribune reached the semi-finals of the Walton-BSJC Media Cup Football Tournament on Wednesday.
In the day's quarter-final matches, RTV beat Somoy TV by a solitary goal, Channel24 edged past Manabzamin by 1-0 goals in the tie-breaker, Dhaka Tribune beat Kalerkantho by 1-0 goals in the tie-breaker, bdnews24.com edged past SA TV by 2-1 goals in the tie-breaker at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Member of Bangladesh Football Federation Md Iqbal Hossain, General Secretary of  Rangpur Division Journalists Association Asharaful Kabir Ashif, Publication Secretary of Dhaka Union of Journalists Zihadur Rahman Zihad, President of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) Asif Iqbal, Senior Vice-President of BSJC Main Uddin Tareq, General Secretary of BSJC Sakir Ruben and Convener of the Tournament Committee Kamal Hossain Banlu were present at the prize-giving ceremony.
