DIU Sr Assistant Director, BUFT Head PR get award

Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations) of Daffodil International University (DIU) has been awarded by "Education Watch", an education based monthly magazine for his outstanding contribution to the field of higher education as Public Relations and communication personnel. Besides, Md. Atikur Rahman, Head Public Relations Officer, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) received Special Award 2018 as a PR Specialties.
Fortnightly `Education Watch Magazine' handed over 'Special Award 2018' to some professionals for their special contribution in PR Management and Higher Education. The award giving ceremony was held recently as a part their "10 years celebration of Education Watch Magazine" at Bangladesh National Museum's poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium in the city. Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University was the chief guest at the event. The Program chaired by KM Khairul Bashar, Chairman Education Watch Magazine. Vice Chancellor of South East University, Prof Dr ANM Meshkat Uddin; Senate Member of Dhaka University and Chairman of NRB Global Bank Ltd Nizam Chowdhury; Shabnam Shehenaj Chowdhury, Vice President of Evans Group were also present in the occasion.
Md. Anowar Habib Kazal started his career as Bexibarta Executive - an in-house publication of Beximco Group in 1996. He joined the Daffodil Multimedia Ltd in 2001 as the Managing Editor of country's first digital magazine "DigiBangla" originated from Digital Bangladesh. Later on in 2007, he joined Daffodil International University as the coordinator of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. Md. Anowar Habib Kazal hailed from Chandpur is an honorary member of Chandpur Press Club and Joint Secretary of Private University Public Relations Officers Association.
