Abahani face off Aizawl FC today

Bangladesh Premier League champions Abahani Ltd will take on Asian champions Aizawl Football Club [India] in their Group C match of the AFC Cup Football Tournament at Bangabandhu National Stadium today (Wednesday).
The match will begin at 4:30pm.
The host side coach AKM Saiful Bari Titu and the stand-in captain Sahidul Islam Sohel want to leave the ground with victory.
"It will be a highly contested game tomorrow [Wednesday]. Abahani must try out best to win the game," said Titu when speaking at the pre-match press conference at Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Tuesday.
The visiting side coach Santosh Kumar Kashyap and captain Alfred Kemah Jaryan targeted to give a good fight to collect points.
"We'll play a good game tomorrow [Wednesday] and collect points from the match," said SK Kashyap at the press conference before the match day.
Abahani got the same side for a 3-0 victory in their away match at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati on April 11, following the 0-1 defeats each against New Radiant Club [Maldives] and Bengaluru FC [India].
All the league champion clubs among the member countries of the Asian Foot Confederation (AFC) are taking part in the AFC Cup and Abahani Ltd representing Bangladesh in the prestigious tournament.
Abahani squad: Sahidul Islam Sohel (captain), Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Waly Faisal, Rayhan Hasan, Emon Mahmud, Pranotosh Kumar Das, Emeka Darlington Onuoha, Rubel Mia, Imtiaz Sultan, Atiqur Rahman Fahad, Mamun Miah, Saad Uddin, Sunday Chizoba Nwadialu, Tutul Hossain Badsha, Nabib Newaz Ziban, Seiya Kojima, Sultan Ahmed Shakil, Faisal Ahmed, Ndukaku Udoka Alison and Titumir Chowdhury.
