Moon sighting body meeting today

The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit in a meeting today to decide the date of holy Shab-e-Barat of Hijri 1439 after reviewing reports of moon sighting of Shaban month.  The meeting will be held at Islamic Foundation's meeting room at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 6.45 pm.  Religious Affairs Minister and Committee Chairman Motiur Rahman will preside over the meeting, a handout said.
People are requested to inform the committee over following telephone numbers - 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9558337 and 9556407 - or through the fax numbers - 9563397 and 9555951, if they see the moon in Bangladesh's sky.
