BNP suffering from depression over failure to wage movement: Quader

General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Obaidul Quader on Sunday said, BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) leaders are now suffering from depression, as their dream to wage movements on the issue of quota reform failed.
 "The BNP tried to build up movements against the government centering the students' quota reform. But their dream melted away because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina abolished all classes of quotas in the government jobs," he said.
Obaidul Quader said while talking with the reporters at AL's Dhanmandi office on Sunday morning.
BNP had no issue and no capacity to wage movements against the government in inconsequence whereof they became frustrated, he added.
A 20- member delegation of Awami League is going to India in response to the invitation sent by the BJP General Secretary Ram Madhab, Quader told the media men.
The delegation will be led by Obaidul Quader. The leaders will leave Dhaka on April 22 and return on April 24.
The delegation includes, AL general secretary Obaidul Quader, presidium member Pijush Kanti Bhattachrya, joint general secretaries, Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, organising secretaries Ahmad Hossain, AFM Bahauddin Nasin, Mohibul Hasan Chowdhoury, Mesbahuddin Siraj,  AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, publicity and publication secretary Hasan Mahmud, liberation war secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, international affairs secretary Shammi Ahmed, science and technology secretary Abdus Sobur, disaster  control and rehabilitation secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Aminul Islam, Rokeya Sultana, Golam Kabir Rabbani and SM Kamal Hossain.
