TCB to sell essentials during Ramzan

Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will engage 187 trucks in selling of different essential commodities such as sugar, pulses, oil, gram and date at division and district level across the country during the holy month of Ramzan.
It was informed during a meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on the commerce ministry held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday, said a press release.
The meeting was informed that the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection will beef up its market monitoring activities to keep the prices of essential commodities stable during Ramzan.
