Freshers' reception ceremony at BUET

A freshers' reception ceremony was held at BUET for the newly enrolled  students' of Level-1/Term-1, of session 2017-2018 organized by the BUET authority.
The function was addressed by Prof  Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor, BUET  on  last Saturday  at  the University Central  Auditorium.
BUET VC said, "Now is the time to build your future. He also suggested the newly enrolled students to study regularly and attentively to build up their own career.
He also emphasized the need to obey the rules of BUET to run the academic atmosphere properly and encouraged the students to avail the facilities of Central Library and take part in the other extra curricular activities of  BUET."
Among others, Prof Dr Maglub Al Nur, Acting Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof Dr Farida Nilufar, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Prof Dr Md. Saifur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prof Dr Md. Rafique Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof Dr Satya Prasa Majumder, Director, Directorate of Students'  Welfare, BUET also spoke on the occasion.
