Rajshahi girls' maintain supremacy in handball
Rajshahi Division maintain supremacy in girls' section handball of inaugural Bangladesh Youth Games beating Mymensingh Division by 22-17 goals in the final held on Tuesday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
The winners led the first half by 14-5 goals.
Purnima Rani of Rajshahi was the highest scorer with eight goals while Shahnaz supported her with six goals. Alpona scored seven goals while Mishti netted five goals for silver medal winners Mymensingh Division.
Before the final on the day, Khulna finished third in the meet beating Dhaka Division by 16-14 goals in the place-deciding encounter held at the same venue.
