Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
Light fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country from late night to today's morning, said a met office press release here on Tuesday.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, the release also said, adding that ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country during the period.
The maximum temperature was recorded 32.4 degree celsius on Monday at Jessore in Khulna division and Tuesday's minimum temperature 13.2 degree celsius at Dinajpur in Rangpur division.
