President attends SAU convocation today

President Abdul Hamid is scheduled to visit Sylhet on Thursday to attend the convocation of Sylhet Agricultural University. The Sylhet Administration has taken all steps to receive president. Adequqte security is taken.
It is the 1st Convocation of Sylhet Agriculture University. A total of 1365

Graduates shall take part. In the convocation, veterinary Animal and Bio-Medical Science up to 19th batch, Agriculture and Management Education 4th batch and Agri-Engineering and Technology 2nd batch pass degree, masters and PHD Graduates will participate.
Agriculture University Register M. Badrul Islam Shuheb informed that all types of preparations are complete.
It is learnt that former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Farash Uddin. finance Minister AMA Muhith and Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will remain present in the occasion.
President A Hamid will reach Osmani International Airport at 2 PM. He will visit the shrine of of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and Shahporan (R). At 3-30 PM President will take part in the convocation. At 5 PM he left Sylhet on way to Dhaka by air.   
Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Additional Police Commissioner (media) Abdul Wahab said, the President will offer fateha at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and Hazrat Shahporan(R) in Sylhet after attending the convocation.
