Met office predicts dry weather over country

Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Jessore and Kushtia in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow, according to a Met office press release issued here on Wednesday.
Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night till morning, the release said.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The minimum temperature of the country was recorded on Wednesday 13.6 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division while the maximum 33.3 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chittagong division on Tuesday.
The sun sets at 5.53 pm on Wednesday and rises at 6.32 am today ( Thursday) in Dhaka.
