Partnership meeting of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society starts at Cox's Bazar

The  three daylong Partnership Meeting 2018' of `Red Cross Red Crescent Movement Response to Population Influx in Bangladesh' organised by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) was began at Cox's Bazar  yesterday.  Red Cross Red Crescent national society's representatives from 22 countries will participate in this partnership meeting.
Along with the Bangladesh, Red Cross Red Crescent national societies from  America, United Kingdom, Belgium,  German, Switzerland, Canada, Sweden, Hong Kong, Japan, Qatar, Turkish, Iran, Italy, Australia as well as representatives from International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), high officials of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Govt., representativs  from international organizations working in Cox's Bazar will also join this three day long international event.

presided over the innagural ceremony as chairperson at  Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort, Inani, Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar.
Among others, Prof. Dr. Md. Habibe Millat MP, Vice Chairman, BDRCS and member IFRC Governing Board, Mr. Mostak Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman, Cox's Bazar Zilla Parishad & Cox's Bazar Red Crescent Unit, Ikhtiyar Aslanov, Head of Delegation, ICRC, Bangladesh, Xavier Castellanos, Director, Asia Pacific Regional Office, IFRC and representatives from Ministry of Disester Mangaement and Relief,   Ministry of Foreign Affairs were   also  present on the occasion..
Earliar on the day all participants visited Red Cross Red Cresent field hospital and activities being under taken by BDRCS and its Movemnt Partners for the people fled from Myanmer living in dffernt makeshift camp and talk along with the journalist. The working session will be held during 14-15 February 2018.
The `Closing Ceremony and Meet the Press' of partnership meeting 2018 will be held at the same place- Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort, Inani, Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar at 12:45pm on 15 February 2018. Mr. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) will preside over the closing ceremony. In Meet the press, the `Cox's Bazar Statement' will be presented by Mr. BMM Mozharul Huq, ndc, Chief Coordinator, Population Movement   Operation, BDRCS.
