PM donates Tk 10 lakh to Shibir attack victim Shahin

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina donated Tk 10 lakh to a BCL activist who lost his hand following an attack carried out by Chhatra Shibir in Sylhet last year.
Sheikh Hasina, also the President of Awami League, handed over the check to Shahin, the BCL activist, at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Friday afternoon (February 9).
Founding President of Canada unit Awami League Sarwar Hossain was present there.
Chhatra Shibir attacked two BCL activists of Sylhet's Madanmohan College unit including Shahin before Jalalabad College in Sobhanighat area on August 7, 2017.
Shahin was stabbed with sharp weapons. He was hospitalized in Dhaka and had to cut off a fractured hand.
