Moderate to thick fog likely over river basins

Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over northwestern part and the river basins and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country from midnight to today's morning, according to a met office release issued here on Tuesday.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Dinajpur, Satkhira, Jessore and Chuadanga and it may abate by today, said the release.
Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during the period.
Minimum temperature of the country was recorded on Tuesday 8.6 degrees celsius at Chuadanga in Khulna division and maximum temperature 28.1 degrees celsius  at Teknaf in Chittagong division on Monday.
