MoU between DU, BSMMU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) of Dhaka University (DU) and the Department of Laboratory Medicine of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) was signed at the Vice-Chancellor (VC)'s lounge in the campus on Tuesday last.
Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Treasurer of BSMMU Prof Dr Ali Asgar Moral signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities, a DU press release. DU VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Director of the Centre for Advanced
Research in Sciences Prof Dr Golam Mohammad Bhuiyan, Laboratory Medicine Department Chairman, BSMMU Prof Dr Md Quddusur Rahman and Acting Registrar of
DU Md Enamuzzaman were present, among others, on the occasion.
According to the MoU, DU CARS and BSMMU Laboratory Medicine Department will exchange research facilities mutually in their laboratories. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the BSMMU authorities for signing the MoU and hoped that the doctors, academicians, scientists, researchers and students of these two universities would be highly benefited by this initiative, the release added.
