Zia shares 3rd slot in Delhi Rating Chess

GM Ziaur Rahman Zia of SAIF Sporting Club now in 3rd position in the points table along with other 15 players with 5.5 points after 7th round games in the 16th Delhi Open International Rating Chess tournament now being held in New Delhi, India, Bangladesh Chess Federation press release said.
In the 7th round games held on Saturday GM Zia (Rating-2472) lost to number one seeded player of the event GM Naiditsch Arkadij (Rating-2701) of Azerbaijan.
Tashin beat Arnab Kumar Mullick of India, Mezan lost to Arpan Das of India and Md. Abul Kashem lost to Arjun Bashkar of India.
GM Zia will play against GM Rozum Ivan of Russia in the 8th round games that begin today (Sunday).
