BPL Football: Farashganj SC relegated

Farashganj Sporting Club have been relegated from the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football after lowly Rahmatganj MFS earned an stunning 2-0 goals victory over the 4th ranked Saif Sporting Club in their last league match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Shaheed put Rahmatganj MFS ahead in the very 2nd minute while Sohel Rana sealed the fate of the match scoring the 2nd goal in the 34th minute in the day's relegation decider.
Earlier, bottom ranked Farashganj SC brightened their chance to avoid the relegation with a 3-1 goals victory over league runners-up Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in their last league match on Thursday, but the day's Rahmatganj's win against mighty Saif SC shattered their all hopes to stay in the prestigious top league.
