Dev Fair kicks off

A colourful 3-day long Chittagong Development Fair was  kicked  off in the port city  at MA Aziz Stadium gymnasium ground yesterday .
 Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Fair through video conference from Dhaka. After inauguration of the fair through video conference at circuit house conference hall, a rally led by Secretary of the cabinet division Sampad Barua  went to fair venue at MA Aziz Stadium as Chief Guest of the programme at about 11 am.
Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong MA Mannan was the special guest in it duly presided by the Deputy commissioner.
On the inaugural day of the fair, the fair get momentum with rush of visitors. Different service providing govt agencies of five districts of the division set up stalls in the fair. Mentionable that at the entry point of the fair venue, an eye catching stall setup by the Bangldesh Army where  health care services are being provided to the general people irrespective of caste and creed. In the fair venue, the cabinet secretary exchanged views with the govt officials of five district and advised them for resolving these prevailing problems.
He said present govt is working relentlessly  to achieve the position of mid income country by 2012 and  developed country by 2041.
