Bangladesh Army emerged as the champions of the Men's Senior Division and Women's Senior Division of the Walton Victory Day Taekwondo Competition at the Gymnasium in the National Sports Council on Wednesday.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) became runners-up in the Men's Senior Division, while BJMC finished runners-up in the Women's Senior Division.
Gazipur District Sports Association emerged as the champions of the Men's Junior Division, while Akij Foundation School & College became champions of the Women's Junior Division.
Rajshahi District Sports Association finished runners-up in the Men's Junior Division, while Comilla District Sports Association became runners-up in the Women's Junior Division.
After the ending of the competition, Secretary of the Youth and Sports Bangladesh Awami League Harunur Rashid distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal presided over the prize-giving ceremony. General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam was present at the time.
