Fed Cup Golf Army Golf Club emerge team event champion

Army Golf Club clinched the team event title of the 2nd Federation Cup Golf Tournament that concluded at the Kurmitola Golf Club here on Sunday.
Kurmitola Golf Club finished runners-up in the 10-team two-day competition.
Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF) Major General AKM Abdullah Hel Baki was the chief guest at the day's closing ceremony and later he distributed the prizes. BGF general secretary Brig Gen Kazi Shamsul Islam was also
Present on the occasion.
Zahirul Islam of Savar Golf Club emerged individual champion in the men's group while Lt Col Humayan Rashid of Moinamoti Golf and Country Club finished runner-up.
Besides, Fatema Motiur of Army Golf Club emerged individual champion in the women's group while Master Sadman Rahman of the same club became individual champion in the junior group.
