Shakib seeks blessings to take Tigers to number one position

World's leading all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan sought blessings and cooperation from everyone in order to fulfill his dream to take Bangladesh cricket team to number position.
The star all-rounder Shakib also hoped that since having enormous support from millions of fans, a day is not far Bangladesh would become World champions in near future, a Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur a press release said on Wednesday.
He was speaking at a workshop title 'Cricket Talks and Workshop' held at Begum Rokeya University ground in Rangpur. University Chancellor Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah presided over the workshop.
Shakib said, "This is my first visit to Rangpur. I am overwhelmed with the reception that I got it here. I believe when we have such loving supporters like you, I am sure Bangladesh will become World champions in near future. I urge all of you to pray for Bangladesh cricket team which will enable us to become number side in the world cricket".
He also thanked the concerned University for inviting him in the workshop.
Earlier, an exhibition match between Begum Rokeya University cricket team and District Sports Association cricket team was organized at the University ground.
