3 killed in separate incidents

BSS, Chittagong :
Three persons including a madrasa student were killed in separate incidents in the city and district  on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Liza, 12, Sajib, 22 and Ahsan Ullah, 50.
Being informed, Fire Service divers recovered the body of a madrasa student Liza from Mohammadpur Bill under Hathazari upazila of the district this noon.
Quoting the victim's family members, police said Liza went missing in the current of Sundari Chhara while picking up woods from the hilly canal on September 10.
Besides, Sajib, son of Mohammad Sultan, hailing from Dewanhat Ashkarabad area under city's Doublemooring thana, attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan in a rickshaw garage in the said area around 6 am today.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMH) where the attending doctors declared him dead, said Abdul Hamid, sub-inspector of CMCH police outpost.
Meanwhile, Ahsan died on the spot after he accidentally fell into an underground water reservoir in city's Chandgaon residential area around 9 am on Tuesday.
