Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chittagong, Barisal and Khulna divisions in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Tuesday," said a Met office release here.
Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at a few places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, added the release.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 33.6 degree Celsius at Mongla in Khulna division and Tuesday's minimum temperature 22.0 degree Celsius at Bhola in Barisal division. The country's highest rainfall during the last 24 hours till 6 am on Tuesday was recorded 117 millimeters (mm) at Sandwip in Chittagong division.
