Bangladesh to take part 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games

Bangladesh will take part in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games scheduled to be held from September 17-27 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, said a Bangladesh Olympic Association press release.
Bangladesh will compete in six disciplines - chess, swimming, weightlifting, wrestling, belt wrestling, taekwondo - in the competition.
The 22-member Bangladesh contingent included eighteen players, trainers cum managers, one chef-de mission, one doctor, one team co-coordinator and one administrative officer. The members of the contingent will leave for Turkmenistan from September 13-22 in phases.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation president and Bangladesh Olympic Association councilor Kazi
Morshed Hasan Kamal will be the chef-de mission of the Bangladesh contingent.
12th SA Games silver winner and national championship gold winner weightlifter Fullapati
Chakma will carry the national flag in the games' opening march-past while 12th SA Games silver
winner and 4th Islamic Solidarity Games bronze winner wrestler Shirin Sultana will carry the national flag in the closing ceremony on September 27.
